With the release of the new Mini Cooper F66 chassis the sound doesn’t really match the style especially when it comes to the Cooper JCW. The Mini Cooper JCW does come from factory with a single exit exhaust pipe and the “hidden” side exit pipe but the sound really isn’t in keeping with the car and doesn’t help the B48 engine sound as good as it can do.

REMUS have developed their GPF-Back “Race” system to replicate the F66 JCW setup with a wide range of tips to choose from but giving you that Racing sound that these cars should come with from factory. This system was initially designed and manufactured for the Mini Cooper S F66 but after lots of people getting in touch we managed to make it work with a JCW which you can see in the pictures.  From factory the F66 JCW has a side exit pipe (Nobody is too sure what this is actually doing) which is valved. This REMUS system is a non-valved exhaust at present so as part of the installation this will be removed and the wiring hidden and secured behind the scenes. It’s worth noting that when disconnected no light or error is displayed on the vehicle displays. It will however log a “soft” fault code behind the scenes when it’s scanned to show that it has been disconnected but this does not have any impact on the car whatsoever. It does however result in a JCW that sounds much better!

With this exhaust system you’re also looking at approximate increase of +12 HP and +22 Nm of torque once installed. The better sound is a sportier, more aggressive exhaust note.

This is for a complete system and comes with the RACING Cat Replacement Pipe and Connection Pipe already included in the price and you then simply choose the tail pipe exhaust trim that you want.

Installation

We’re able to offer installation of this system to your vehicle at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset.

Typically installation for a system like this should take approximately 2 hours to complete.
