The Novitec Power Optimized Valved Exhaust System for the Ferrari 458 Italia and Spider is a precision-engineered rear silencer replacement designed to enhance acoustic performance, gas flow efficiency, and overall engine response.

Unlike the restrictive OEM exhaust system, which prioritises emissions and noise compliance, Novitec’s system is developed with a focus on dynamic backpressure management. Using extensive flow bench and acoustic testing, Novitec engineered a silencer that optimises exhaust scavenging across the rev range while producing a harmonically balanced tone that’s distinctly Ferrari.

Constructed entirely from high-grade stainless steel, this valved exhaust system incorporates internal flow channels tuned to reduce turbulence and enhance cylinder scavenging — translating to sharper throttle response and smoother high-RPM power delivery.

Installation

We can supply & fit this system at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset. It will take approximately 1 full day to fully install, setup and test. We would recommend that the vehicle stays overnight.

Professional installation is required. The Novitec system uses precision flanges and brackets designed to match OEM tolerances, but accurate alignment and torque settings are critical for performance and sound consistency.

No tuning or remap is necessary, but a post-install diagnostic check is recommended to ensure correct valve communication and sealing.
