The Genuine Porsche Motorsport 6-Point Harness is the same competition-inspired safety harness used in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car and supplied as standard equipment on Porsche models specified with the Clubsport Package. Manufactured by Schroth, Porsche’s trusted motorsport safety partner, this harness has been engineered to Porsche Motorsport’s exacting standards for exceptional quality, fitment and performance.

Designed specifically for Porsche GT models equipped with a roll cage, the harness provides improved driver restraint during spirited road driving and track use, helping to keep the driver securely positioned within the seat during heavy braking, acceleration and high lateral cornering forces.

For Carbonwurks customers, this harness is the perfect companion to either the Genuine Porsche Steel Roll Cage or the Silver Rocket Dry Carbon Fibre Roll Cage, creating a complete Clubsport-inspired interior that combines factory quality with motorsport functionality.

Available as either a Driver Harness or a Driver & Passenger Harness Set, allowing you to tailor the configuration to suit your vehicle.

Unlike aftermarket universal harnesses, this is a Genuine Porsche Motorsport component engineered specifically for the Porsche GT platform.

Manufactured by Schroth, one of the world’s leading motorsport restraint manufacturers, the harness has been designed with optimised shoulder belt lengths and mounting geometry to work correctly with Porsche’s factory roll cage system and compatible motorsport roll cages.

A six-point harness offers a significant improvement in driver support compared to a conventional three-point seatbelt. By securely holding the driver within the seat, the harness helps reduce unnecessary body movement during high-speed cornering, heavy braking and rapid acceleration. This allows the driver to remain properly positioned behind the steering wheel, improving comfort, confidence and vehicle control during performance driving. For track enthusiasts, it also provides a more connected driving experience, allowing greater focus on vehicle inputs rather than bracing against lateral forces.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended

This harness is designed for installation into vehicles equipped with a compatible roll cage and should be fitted in accordance with Porsche Motorsport and Schroth installation guidelines to ensure correct routing and operation. It cannot be installed to a vehicle without a suitable roll cage already installed.

We are able to offer full supply and installation of this product at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset. Typically this installation will take approximately 2 hours per side to complete. As part of this installation we will set the harness up to your requirement. We would highly recommend that if opting for a passenger harness that the person most likely to be in the seat also visits so this too can be setup correctly.
