With the release of the new Mini Cooper F66 chassis the sound doesn’t really match the style especially when it comes to the Cooper S. The Mini Cooper S comes from factory with a “hidden” style exhaust system. The sound really isn’t in keeping with the car and doesn’t help the B48 engine sound as good as it can do. Not to mention that from factory you don’t even have anything to look at.

REMUS have developed their GPF-Back “Race” system to replicate the F66 JCW setup (which pays homage to the old school Austin Mini Cooper) with a wide range of tips to choose from but also giving you that Racing sound that these cars should come with from factory. With this exhaust system you’re also looking at approximate increase of +12 HP and +22 Nm of torque once installed. The better sound is a sportier, more aggressive exhaust note.

This is for a complete system and comes with the RACING Cat Replacement Pipe and Connection Pipe already included in the price and you then simply choose the tail pipe exhaust trim that you want.

Replacement Rear Diffuser with Centre Exit

If you have a Cooper S and looking to upgrade your exhaust system you will be required to install a replacement genuine Mini rear diffuser (and fittings) to allow for the installation of the REMUS exhaust system.

This is a required element if you want to upgrade your exhaust system. We’re able to offer the Genuine Mini Diffuser to be purchased at the same time as the exhaust system which is available as an extra above. Please note, if you choose “Not Required” you will need to get these parts yourself prior to install. As part of this diffuser kit you will receive a Genuine Mini Gloss Black Rear Diffuser and replacement rear-light adhesive (You retain your existing rear-light). If you car has the non-JCW pack you may require the light fitting which is an additional extra. To check, simply send us a picture of the rear of your vehicle and we’ll confirm what is needed.

Installation

We’re able to offer installation of this system to your vehicle at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset.

Typically installation for a system like this should take approximately 4-5 hours to complete.
