Audi R8 Carbon Fibre Engine Bay Kit (7 pieces)

The carbon fibre engine bay for the Audi R8 Gen 2 gives a super exotic look to the what can be a fairly plain engine bay. With the huge exposed glass panel, carbon fibre trims make a big impact and really light up the engine bay. A must have to really show off the mega Audi power plant behind the glass screen.

The engine bay kit is made up of 7 components. 3 firewall/side panels, 1 coolant tank cover, 1 engine cover and 2 air intake covers. The engine bay cover is 100% carbon fibre (instead of being painted yellow in the images) and now comes with a carbon fibre V10 badge, the engine cover can be painted on request however. The air intake covers are genuine Audi parts that are refurbished as so they look brand new.

The carbon engine bay panels are made from 100% pure autoclaved carbon fibre. This is the strongest, lightest and highest quality carbon currently available, it’s the same technology and production that goes into Formula 1 cars. Once the part have been produced and pulled from the mould, it is checked and tested thoroughly before heading to lacquer. Each part is inspected further and checked for tolerances before being hand and machine polished, followed by being waxed and sealed in with high content Carnauba products from our partner Race Glaze.

The Carbonwurks R8 Engine Bay panels are a direct replacement for the original panels. Fitment is straight forward however we recommend the installation to be done by a trained professional.
