Audi R8 4S Facelift GT Carbon Fibre Rear Canards

The Carbonwurks Audi R8 GT Style Carbon Fibre Rear Canards Are Based on an OEM Design. Genuine Autoclave Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre. Suitable For 2020+ Models.

The Audi R8 GT was limited to 500 vehicles worldwide and the performance parts themselves are incredibly difficult to get hold of. We have based our GT carbon fibre rear canards on the OEM original but at a more cost effective price without compromising quality or fitment.

Each component from this kit is hand crafted and produced with 2×2 Twill, autoclave carbon giving high accuracy along with a superb uniform finish. Parts will be gloss lacquered but can be matte lacquered on special request.

Specifications

• Autoclave, Pre-Preg carbon fibre
• 3K 2×2 Twill
• High gloss UV resistant lacquer/clearcoat
• Coated with RaceGlaze 55 high carnauba wax

For those who don’t know much about Pre-preg Autoclave carbon, this is the strongest, lightest and highest quality carbon fibre available. The canards are baked under immense pressure to give a very uniform and pin-hole free finish. With this being cured at high temps, it ensures longevity of the overall product. The canards are then finished in a UV, high gloss lacquer before being hand and machined polished and being treated to a high content carnauba wax from our partners Race Glaze.

Installation

For the carbon rear canards we recommend these are bolted through the bumper to ensure security and stability at high speeds. The canards are designed to create downforce and smooth airflow, ensuring solid fitment is key to longevity and safety. The canards have fixings holes pre-mounted and include suitable fixings for the install.

Due to the Premium nature of these parts we highly recommend that this kit is installed by a professional bodyshop with experience with the Audi R8 Facelift platform. If you are based in the UK then we highly recommend that your vehicle is brought down to us for installation which takes approximately two days to complete for a full GT pack. • These canards are designed to be bolted through the bumper, this is how we recommend fitment. Sealant can be used instead if required, we do however recommend using the supplied bolts.
