The body Styling of the Mercedes A/B and CLA class is bold with some great lines to the bodywork. However good the design from Mercedes is, they have forgotten some very important factors and that is stones and debris being flicked up off the ground from the tyre! This is a well know problem with these cars that over time many chips form on the lower doors, arch’s and side-skirts leaving a horrible pebble dashed look.

As far as we are aware, there are no replacement options either from Renault directly or an aftermarket version for these 197/200 models with the subframe bushing. We have taken it upon ourselves to design and produce a solid bush which has been CNC machined from a single piece of Aluminium and hard anodised for increased protection from the elements. The upgraded billet bushings will increase the stiffness of the bush significantly and reduce play and movement in the subframe itself. The upsides are improve chassis control and helping reduce wheel tramp/skipping as well as general weight transfer over the front axle.
