Dissident have come onto the scene earlier this year (2023), and they’ve brought some exciting, innovative products to the market for Porsche’s. Although Dissident Automotive is a new name, they are operating under AGN Composites who have been manufacturing carbon fibre here in the UK for some time. Dissident produce all their parts from scratch, in house including all of their design, tooling and manufacturing – this gives the best control over quality and helps fast track new products which we are looking forward to seeing more of in the coming months.

Carbonwurks have, behind the scenes been working with various members of the AGN Composites group for over 20 years! Both Carbonwurks and AGN are founded on a motorsport background which has given an insight into a world otherwise not experienced by a lot of other automotive companies; that experience can’t be easily obtained!

The current lineup of products from Dissident includes a variety of autoclave, prepreg carbon fibre for the latest generation Porsche 911, 992 Carrera. As any good company should, Dissident have their own Porsche 992 for development purposes that they have designed and developed their products on. With carbon fibre production, there is a very broad range of manufacturing processes. Dissident have a huge amount of knowledge along with the latest technology to create carbon fibre that wouldn’t be out of place on a Hypercar, let alone a supercar!
