The Tesla Model 3 & Model Y along with the range of other Tesla models boast some impressive technology but are severely let down when it comes to ride quality and comfort. Due to the heavy weight of the vehicle along with stiff suspension it can make the ride feel quite uncomfortable and very stiff / jerky (especially on UK roads). Having fitted and tested one of these systems on a brand new Model Y along with our custom wheel alignment (See pictures of it installed) it was a massive improvement and certainly gave the comfort you would expect from this level of car!

The KW Leveling suspensions are ideal for owners who are not looking for maximum lowering, but seeking the driving dynamics and comfort of a KW Coilover suspension in combination with the almost original Tesla series floor clearance.

The KW Leveling suspensions focus on the combination of increased driving dynamics and comfort in connection with a minimum lowering or, if desired, raising of the suspension. The KW Leveling suspensions are the ideal upgrade for driving on poor roads or areas that have numerous speed bumps or potholes! The progressive suspension springs are designed to give their spring rate a plus in driving comfort. Accordingly, the KW Leveling suspensions have an adjustable, comfort-oriented basic damper tuning. If required, the KW leveling enables an adapted level regulation in the range of + 5 – 20 mm.

The KW V3 Leveling suspension is the ideal option for drivers who are looking for everyday practicality, increased rolling comfort, and sportiness. The separately adjustable dampers in compression and rebound with their “TVR-A” and “TVC-A” technology allow extensive damper tuning. This makes it easy to additionally influence the steering behavior, directional stability, tire grip, and handling characteristics significantly for safe control at the limit and increased driving comfort.

Installation

We’re able to offer installation of this system to your vehicle at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset.

Typically installation for a system like this should take approximately a full day to complete. As part of the installation a 4-wheel alignment must be carried out once the suspension has been completed. In some cases we may require that your vehicle is kept overnight.

Please Note:

• Height adjustable front and rear axles (front axle threaded strut housings, rear axle adjustable springs + dampers)
• Dampers are adjusted by easily operating adjustment wheels. Rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the vehicle construction.
