The Silver Rocket SR EVO-X See-Through Shark Fin System is a premium carbon fibre aerodynamic upgrade developed specifically for the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS platforms. Designed by a team of motorsport engineers and racers, the system combines genuine aerodynamic development with striking GT racing-inspired styling to create one of the most distinctive roof conversions available for the Porsche 992 platform. The prominent shark-fin functions as a vertical aerodynamic stabiliser which significantly reduce yaw. This in turn reduces side-to-side rotational movement which helps improve cornering stability and lateral control. If you go for the “Complete Kit” which includes the 8 roof aero fins, they help direct airflow towards the shark-fin and rear wing.

Inspired by modern GT and endurance racing applications, the SR EVO-X system replaces the factory roof section with a beautifully engineered carbon fibre shark fin assembly designed to improve airflow management while adding a unique motorsport aesthetic.

Available in two configurations, customers can choose between the SR EVO-X See-Through Shark Fin or the SR EVO-X See-Through Shark Fin Complete Kit, which includes additional carbon fibre roof fins for an even more aggressive aerodynamic appearance.

Developed for both road and full track usage, the SR EVO-X system has been tested extensively at the Shanghai International Circuit and Ningbo International Circuit, ensuring it delivers the quality, performance, and reliability expected from a genuine motorsport-inspired component.

The Silver Rocket SR EVO-X Shark Fin System is available in two options:

• Standard Configuration (Without Roof Aero Fins) – The standard configuration features the central carbon fibre shark fin assembly, creating a dramatic motorsport-inspired roof profile while maintaining a clean and integrated appearance. Designed to improve airflow stability over the rear of the vehicle, the shark fin helps guide air more consistently towards the rear aerodynamic package, particularly during high-speed driving and track use.
• Complete Kit (With Roof Aero Fins) – The Complete Kit includes the central shark fin assembly together with additional carbon fibre roof fins. The roof fins further enhance airflow management across the roofline, helping direct airflow more efficiently towards the rear of the vehicle while creating a more aggressive GT racing-inspired appearance.

Both configurations share the same premium carbon fibre construction and have been engineered specifically for the Porsche 992 GT3 and GT3 RS platforms.

Both kits are shipped free of charge both within the UK and the Rest of the world. If you are purchasing from outside of the UK all relevant duties and tariffs are pre-paid for you so no additional costs are incurred.

The SR EVO-X See-Through Shark Fin System is far more than a visual enhancement. Developed by motorsport engineers and experienced racers, it has been designed to enhance aerodynamic stability while maintaining the refined characteristics of the Porsche GT platform.

Extensively tested at both the Shanghai International Circuit and Ningbo International Circuit, the system has been validated under genuine high-speed track conditions to ensure it performs as effectively on circuit as it does on the road.

The central shark fin works by managing airflow over the rear of the vehicle, reducing unwanted turbulence and helping create cleaner, more stable airflow towards the rear wing. This is especially important during high-speed cornering, where consistent aerodynamic behaviour can contribute to improved vehicle stability and driver confidence.

For the Complete Kit option, the additional roof fins further refine airflow movement across the roofline. Working together with the shark fin, they help guide air towards the rear aerodynamic components while providing the unmistakable appearance associated with modern GT racing cars.

Installation

Professional installation is essential

Installation of the Silver Rocket SR EVO-X Shark Fin System requires removal of the rear windscreen to correctly install and bond the system. This must be carried out by a professional automotive glazing company. Due to the specialist nature of the installation, the complete process should only be completed by a professional with Porsche experience to ensure correct alignment, bonding, and final finish quality.

We’re able to offer full installation of this system at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset. As part of the installation we will work with our trusted “specialist” glazing company called Firstglass Automotive Glazing who will remove your existing Porsche rear screen and refit the new Silver Rocket shark-fin system. Andrew at Firstglass has over 20 years experience in this field specialising in custom and supercar glass replacement. Please allow for two days for the physical installation of this kit along with the additional storage time required.

Once installation has been completed, the vehicle must remain stationary to allow the bonding adhesive to fully cure:

• Minimum 48 hours in dry conditions
• 5+ days in humid conditions

The vehicle should not be moved during this curing period, as premature movement could compromise the strength and integrity of the installation.
