Mercedes Benz A45 / CLA45 Class Carbon Fibre Side Skirt Insert

On most A45 and CLA45, the side skirt comes in a gloss black plastic. This is a nice contrast to the body work but doesn’t quite catch the eye like glossy Carbon weave. The Carbonwurks Carbon Fibre side skirt insert is a complete replacement for the black or body coloured skirt insert. We don’t believe in “stick on” parts and that is why this completely replaces the OEM piece unlike other cheap parts on the market.

The Carbon Skirt insert is made up of lightweight and strong Carbon Fibre and reinforced with glass fibre. The insert is then finished off in a high gloss lacquer, after which the carbon is hand polished and sealed in with a very high carnauba content wax with a hybrid sealant to give both depth and protection.

Fitment is straight forward, the OEM piece simply pulls away from the main side skirt body and then the Carbonwurks insert simply slides back in place and is held securely with integral clips and double sided tape that’s pre installed. Making sure the side skirt is dirt and grease free first by using the supplied alcohol wipes.

A lovely addition to any A45 or CLA45 class that you can appreciate every time you open the door.
