The rear diffuser on the Pre-facelift A45 is a little tame looking for an AMG. The gloss black plastic is a nice contrast but like a lot of other parts on the car, it’s lacking that exotic feel that Carbon Fibre gives. The rear diffuser on the Pre-facelift A45 is a little tame looking for an AMG. The gloss black plastic is a nice contrast but like a lot of other parts on the car, it’s lacking that exotic feel that Carbon Fibre gives. The Carbonwurks A45 AMG Carbon Fibre rear diffuser lip spoiler is a complete replacement for the OEM black plastic piece. A subtle part but really finishes the rear end off nicely with the eye catching Carbon weave.
The Carbon diffuser lip is made up of lightweight and strong Carbon Fibre and reinforced with glass fibre. The lip is then finished off in a high gloss lacquer, after which the carbon is hand polished and sealed in with a very high carnauba content wax with a hybrid sealant to give both depth and protection.
Fitment is a direct replacement for the OEM lip spoiler. Professional installation is advised as the rear bumper is recommended to be removed for fitment rather than just pulling off the original from the front. Supplied with the diffuser is stainless steel screws to fit into the pre-drilled holes to ensure a tight fitment.
