Mercedes A-Class / CLA Carbon Fibre Number Plate Surround

The number plate on the front of cars is always a little bit of a let down. It’s cheap looking and seeing a slab of plastic doesn’t really look great against the rest of the paintwork. We decided that making a carbon fibre number plate surround for the Mercedes A and CLA class was only a good thing!

The carbon fibre number plate surround is made from an existing OEM Mercedes number plate surround, which is laminated in genuine carbon fibre and finished off in a high gloss lacquer to protect from UV rays. The surround is then hand polished and waxed with a high content carnauba wax before being sent off to each customer.

Generally we tend to hold stock of the carbon surrounds but occasionally we will sell out before we can finish the next batch of surrounds. If we haven’t got stock the lead time is generally 4 weeks.

Fitment really is very easy that even the most novice home mechanic can install the part. There are 2 screws that hold the number surround in place and a couple plastic clips. The whole job can be done in under 10 minutes. We recommend using double sided tape for the number plate but screws can be used if being careful when drilling or screwing into the carbon.
