Facelift A45 “Black Series” Front Carbon Fibre Aero Pack

This one has been a long time coming. It’s taken over 12 months from first inception through prototyping to finally production. We are however very pleased to be able to offer our Black Series facelift A45 carbon package.

When we first set out to produce these part it wasn’t to just create something that was in carbon fibre but to offer something that looks very aggressive and yet is still in keeping with the Mercedes design language. The Black series kit consists of 5 parts, 2 smaller canards, 2 larger canards and a middle front spoiler. We have taken the original design and put it on steroids! The larger and smaller canards are double the original size with the larger canards tapering into the front spoiler to give a design that doesn’t look like an after thought.

When it comes to carbon fibre parts there is a wide variety and range of production methods and materials. These parts are produced using 100% prepreg autoclave carbon fibre which is cooked under immense pressure for several hours to give an incredibly strong and yet super light part. There is no stronger and lighter carbon available on the market, this carbon really is made to Formula 1 standards and would not look out of place on a super or hypercar. You cannot produce or make carbon fibre to a better quality anywhere in the world.

Once the parts have been pulled from the mould, it goes through further preparations before being finished off in a high gloss lacquer (or matte lacquer). The carbon has further checks before it is machine and hand polished and treated to a very high content carnauba wax from our partners Race Glaze. Ceramic coating is also available on request.

Fitment is straight forward and are a direct replacement for the original pieces. This can be retro fitted to an A45 without the front aero pack however a few pieces of hardware are required. For matte lacquer there will be an additional lead time of 2 weeks.
