BMW M3 (G80 / G81) & M4 (G82 & G83) M-Performance Carbon Fibre Rear Winglets

The Carbonwurks M3 (G80 / G81) & M4 (G82 & G83) M-Performance Carbon Rear Winglets are Based on an OEM Design. Genuine Autoclave Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre.

From factory, BMW don’t offer rear winglets unless you spec the extremely expensive “M-Performance” Pack which then gives you the winglets in Carbon Fibre. These parts replace the original gloss black rear side splitters.

We have based our own “M-Performance” carbon fibre version on the OEM originals but at a more cost effective price without compromising quality or fitment. Our design provides an aggressive look for the rear of your vehicle and enhances the styling dramatically. This is made with the same 2×2 twill carbon weave BMW use for their parts.

How To Install Carbon Fibre Rear Winglets To BMW G8X

Specifications

• Autoclave, Pre-Preg carbon fibre
• 3K 2×2 Twill – OEM weave
• High gloss UV resistant lacquer/clearcoat
• Coated with RaceGlaze 55 high carnauba wax

For those who don’t know much about Pre-Preg Autoclave carbon, this is the strongest and lightest carbon fibre available. The rear winglets are cooked under immense pressure to give a very uniform and pin-hole free finish. With this being cured at high temps, it ensures longevity of the winglets. The rear winglets are then finished in a UV, high gloss lacquer before being hand and machined polished and being treated to a high content carnauba wax from our partners Race Glaze.

Installation

Fitment is a direct replacement for the current bumper side splitters. We always recommend using a competent bodyshop to undertake the installation. We standby our quality and fitment of all our parts. With all our products we produce and sell, every component is designed to stand the test of time along with giving as close to OEM fitment that can be achieved.
