Audi R8 4S Facelift GT Carbon Fibre Front Splitter

The Carbonwurks Audi R8 GT Style Carbon Fibre Front Splitter Is Based on an OEM Design. Genuine Autoclave Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre. Suitable For 2020+ Models.

The Audi R8 GT was limited to 500 vehicles worldwide and the performance parts themselves are incredibly difficult to get hold of. We have based our GT carbon fibre front splitter on the OEM original but at a more cost effective price without compromising quality or fitment.

We have developed our parts in the same 2×2 Twill carbon weave that Audi use in the standard direction but for those looking for an even more premium option in a Herringbone “V-Style” seen in the likes of other supercar & hypercar models. The Herringbone parts are showcased on our development vehicle.

Each component from this kit is hand crafted and produced with 2×2 twill, autoclave carbon giving high accuracy along with a superb uniform finish. Parts will be gloss lacquered but can be matte lacquered on special request.

Specifications

• Autoclave, Pre-Preg carbon fibre
• 3K 2×2 Twill – Herringbone weave or straight weave
• High gloss UV resistant lacquer/clearcoat
• Coated with RaceGlaze 55 high carnauba wax

For those who don’t know much about Pre-preg Autoclave carbon, this is the strongest, lightest and highest quality carbon fibre available. The splitter is baked under immense pressure to give a very uniform and pin-hole free finish. With this being cured at high temps, it ensures longevity of the overall product. The splitter is then finished in a UV, high gloss lacquer before being hand and machined polished and being treated to a high content carnauba wax from our partners Race Glaze.

Installation

For the carbon front splitter you will be required to mount these parts to your original plastic parts to allow for optimal fitment (As per the Genuine Audi Sport Fitment Instructions for the genuine parts). If you currently already have the standard Audi carbon fibre part then we recommend that this is removed and replaced with the plastic version (To save you damaging your expensive carbon part which you can then sell on once the GT kit has been installed).

Due to the Premium nature of these parts we highly recommend that this kit is installed by a professional bodyshop with experience with the Audi R8 Facelift platform. If you are based in the UK then we highly recommend that your vehicle is brought down to us for installation which takes approximately two days to complete for a full GT pack. Please Note:

• This front splitter mounts to your original Audi parts that are already installed to your vehicle to give you the best fitment possible. If you currently have these in carbon fibre then we recommend these are removed and replaced with the standard Audi plastic versions which we’re able to supply at the same time for an additional cost. These will be supplied in an Audi gloss black (LY9B).
