Upgrade Your Audi R8 4S With A Genuine Alcantara Replacement Sport Steering Wheel. Premium Italian Alcantara Professionally Re-Trimmed With Custom Stitch Colour.

Over the last few months we’ve been slowly but surely trying to improve our Audi R8 CW GT into a more premium / refined vehicle and now it’s the turn for the interior. One of the upgrades we wanted to achieve but the Audi Alcantara “Audi-Sport” wheel was quite an expensive optional extra item. We have been known in the industry to produce high-end carbon fibre steering wheels but felt like we didn’t want to go too much carbon on the interior so we put together a brand new offering from Carbonwurks, an Alcantara replacement wheel.

This is a genuine Audi R8 steering wheel that is then professionally re-trimmed in a premium Italian Alcantara with your option of a custom colour stitch and “optional” centre line (Selectable above).

We have these steering wheels trimmed to order so please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your wheel.

Whilst the pictures in this listing show the steering wheel with airbag / airbag cover, plastics and buttons the item you will receive will not have these. You will be required to remove these items along with necessary wiring from your original steering wheel and install into your new re-trimmed version.

Suitable for the Pre-Facelift and Facelift version of the Audi R8 4S Gen 2.

Wheel Options

For this particular item we have the below three options to try and make things as easy and as cost-effective as possible for you to achieve an “Audi-Sport” style Alcantara steering wheel. Below are the three options that are selectable from the drop-downs.

• Re-Trimming Service – This option is where you would remove your current steering wheel from your vehicle and ship it to us. We’ll then have it re-trimmed in the options selected and have it shipped back once completed.
• Wheel with Rebate – This option is where we would supply a replacement wheel which is then re-trimmed in the options selected. Once completed it will be returned to you. Once you have completed the swap you would then be required to ship your existing wheel back to us within 10 workings days. Once the wheel has been received and it’s in good condition we will credit back to your original payment method, £1200. This figure is based on the wheel being in good re-usable condition. If you are unsure on the condition of your wheel, please send us some pictures prior to ordering. Please ensure you tick the rebate option when ordering if you wish to do this.
• Wheel with No Rebate – This option is where we would supply a replacement wheel which is then re-trimmed in the options selected. Once completed it will be returned to you and you will not be required to send your existing wheel back to us.

Rebate Scheme

As part of this listing we’re able to provide a £1200 refund on receipt of your old existing leather steering wheel. Please ensure that the box is ticked prior to adding this item to your basket so we know you would like to do this.

• If choosing to send back your original wheel it MUST be a genuine Audi R8 steering wheel with the part numbers stamped inside. We will not accept any aftermarket non-genuine parts.
