Mini F5X Cooper S & JCW FI Exhausts Downpipe

Time to give your Mini Cooper S or JCW a soundtrack upgrade with the Fi Exhaust Downpipe!

FI Exhausts have produced one of the finest stainless steel exhaust systems available for the F55 & F56 Cooper S & JCW (may fit other models but please do check). This downpipe is designed to free up some power by either removing or replacing the stock catalytic converter along with a larger bore to enhance power and sound further.

The downpipe can come as a full de-cat pipe or with a 200 cell sports cat. Please note that any downpipe without a catalytic converter will not pass emission testing here in the UK. The sports catted version will pass UK MOT checks and emission testing. With changing the downpipe, the car ECU will need to be remapped however the downpipe can be made with a dummy Oxygen sensor that can negate the need to remap the car (will keep the warnings from appearing). These downpipe are generally made to order so we can add or remove this option depending on request.

The downpipe can be ceramic coated for an additional cost. This coating helps keep temperatures down within the downpipe itself which can help reduce engine bay temperatures and performance by keeping the exhaust gasses hot (therefore moving faster).

FI do also offer a full cat-back exhaust system including a valvetronic rear muffler/silencer. The cat-back is not included in this item sale.

This downpipe fits all model F55 & F56 Cooper S & JCW’s.

Installation

We’re happy to offer this product for installation at our workshop here in Poole, Dorset. Depending on your version of car this can take 4-6 hours.
