Mercedes AMG Carbon Fibre Steering Wheel Trim

As nice as the original aluminium Mercedes wheel trim is, it just isn’t carbon fibre! The Carbonwurks carbon fibre replacement wheel trim sets the steering wheel off nicely with striking glossy carbon weave that can be admired all the time while in the car.

The wheel trim is made up of lightweight and strong carbon fibre that is produced via carbon infusion. The trim starts off as a plastic part due to the intricacy where we couldn’t make the clips and fittings out of carbon, they are then infused with genuine carbon fibre giving the finish we come to expect with carbon. The trim is then finished off in a high gloss lacquer, after which the carbon is hand and machine polished then sealed in with a very high carnauba content wax from our partners Race Glaze, to give both depth and protection.

We always recommend professional fitting. The wheel trim is a simple remove and replace part however will require your airbag to be removed to swap the parts over. Installation is estimated at 30 minutes.
