Audi R8 Carbon Fibre Front Canards

We have developed a new range of carbon fibre components for the Audi R8, one of which are carbon fibre front canards. These accentuate the look of the front bumper giving a more aggressive look to the r8, the likes of which normally seen on race cars. These canards are based of the Audi OEM Performance parts and come in a set of 4 (2 for each side).

The front canards are made up lightweight and strong 100% Autoclave carbon fibre giving both great strength and superior finish. Once the parts have been produced and pulled from the mould, they are checked and tested thoroughly before heading to lacquer. Each part is inspected further and checked for tolerances before being hand and machine polished, followed by being waxed and sealed in with high content Carnauba products from our partner Race Glaze.

The front canards are a pretty easy part to install, however we always recommend professional fitting to ensure the product is installed fully correctly. These can be installed with double sided tape or sealant, if required they can also be screwed into from behind the bumper. We pre-install double sided tape as standard. For higher speed driving we generally recommend using sealant and or screwing these into place.
